Where did my downloaded files go?Depending on your computer settings, your browser may: Most likely, if you do not see a screen asking whether to save or open the file, it was saved somewhere on your computer and you need to determine where your computer puts downloaded files (see below). Both Internet Explorer and Firefox usually default to saving downloaded files on your desktop. If the song that you purchased starts playing in a music player,
you must save it during or right after the song plays, or you will lose

Back to How to Test or Change Your Browser Settings How to detemine where (1) Internet Explorer or (2) Firefox saves your downloaded files1) Internet ExplorerWhen using Internet Explorer, a download window like the one below usually appears. You should click on the Save button.
A second window appears next, giving you a choice of where the file should be saved. Usaully the default is the Desktop, as shown in the example below.
2) FirefoxFor Firefox, click on Tools and then on Downloads. At the bottom of the window that pops up, it will show where the files are being downloaded to. By default downloaded files are automatically saved to the Desktop, eliminating the hassle of specifying a download location for every file you download. To change how and where your downloaded files are saved, click on Tools, then on Options, and then on the Main tab. Here you can see where the files are saved (usually the Desktop, as in the example below) and browse to a different folder if you prefer another location on your computer.
